The St. Cloud State Huskies men's hockey team (15-15-1) came up just short last night in Grand Forks, falling to the top-ranked North Dakota Fighting Sioux (23-6-3) 3-2. UND led 3-0 in the second before SCSU mounted a fierce comeback that wasn't quite enough.

Husky goals came from Ben Storm and Joey Benik. SCSU goalie Charlie Lindgren faced 30 shots, making 27 saves. On the power play, SCSU was 2-4 and UND was 1-3.

The two teams will complete the weekend series tonight at 7 PM.

Go Huskies!
