15 December 1966, "For What It's Worth"  both written and recorded pretty quick by Stephen Stills who detested the LAPD's violent reactions to the teenage protests on Sunset Strip. The song very bluesy yet somber and very recognizable by the line,"Stop! Hey, What's that sound" turned out to be the very predictive omen of the violent and socially destructive scene that the generation gap was rapidly creating.

Three cheers for us, right?
