The world famous dog sledding race, the 2016 Iditarod, took place in Fairbanks, Alaska on Sunday. And this year, it features two Minnesotans.

For over a week, they’ll travel thousands of miles to Alaska’s western coast.

The first Minnesotan is Nathan Schroeder from Chisholm. The other is Cindy Gallea, from Wykoff.
