It was the single " Whiskey In A Jar" that pretty much had a lot to do with who the band Thin Lizzy became known, released in late 1972 yet charted in February 1973 at #7 in the U.K.

Based on the success of "Whiskey In A Jar" the band thought time to get this band in full gear and do what we do best and that's make music.

Thin Lizzy recorded a third album titled, 'Vagabonds of the Western World' which was released in September '73.

The single, "The Rocker" never charted but it did become a crowd favorite during their concerts.

Phil Lynott passed away in 1986.
