After the breakup of the Beatles, here’s your answer, the best selling album by Paul McCartney and Wings, ‘Band On The Run.’
Critics today still state that ‘Band On The Run’ is the best of McCartney’s produced work.
Interesting fact, before Wings started to record the album members Denny Seiwell (drums) and Henry McCullough (lead guitarist) got up and left, yes quit which left Paul and Linda McCartney and Denny Laine (guitar/keyboardist) to pretty much record the the whole album themselves.
