In the photo above you will see Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart as a member of Faces, however Rod had started a pretty successful solo career during that time frame.
'Ooh La La' was faces first and only #1 album in the U.K. they had and also it would be their last album released as a band.
Faces album, 'A Nod is as Good as a Wink...To a Blind Horse' came close to a #1 spot on the charts as it did reach #2 in 1971.
'Ooh la La' was more successful in the U.K. versus the U.S. , two singles from the band, "Cindy Incidentally" and "Poor Hall Richard"were the only songs to make the Top 10 (U.K.), again pretty scarce in the U.S.
