Not much longer after Woodstock that the Butterfield Blues Band called it a day, 18 years later it would be an early death for Paul Butterfield.

Paul Butterfield had years of substance and alcohol abuse and it caught up with him in 1987 at the age of 44 when he died of a heart attack.

David Sanborn (Sax) moved on as a successful jazz musician and composer. His latest LP is titled, 'Only Everything' in 2010 and still maintains a heavy tour schedule.

Buzz Feiten (guitar) joined up with The Rascals, then hit the road as a solo artist and session player.
