’69 Woodstock Performers, Where Are They Now Part 1 Of 3 – Grateful Dead [VIDEO]
The Grateful Dead’s three decade run expired after the passing of two of their key members.Ron “Pigpen” McKernan (keyboards) passed away from a gastrointestinal hemorrage in 1973.
Jerry Garcia (vocals/guitar) passed away of a heart attach just eight days after his 53rd birthday in 1995.
Bob Weir (guitar) along with Phil Lesh (bass), Bill Kruetzmann (drums), Mickey Hart (drums) and Tom Constanten (keyboards) have performed together off and on and pursued solo careers since 1988.
Weir, Kruetzmann, Lesh and Hart have toured as The Dead and Constanten has along with “Country Joe” McDonald toured with the Heroes of Woodstock.
