It was number one after number one with the double LP 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' and previously with 'Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player' two albums released in 1973.
Considered by fans and critics as the best of Elton John's work as this would be his seventh studio release.
The double LP released some very recognizable songs that would aid in making Elton John a must see artist, some hes best known for would be ,"Bennie and the Jets", "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and the song that payed tribute to Marilyn Monroe then Princess Diana, "Candle in the Wind."
