It was a rough start for this soon to be superstar as 'Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.' as it was Bruce's lowest charting album coming in at #60.
Down the road Bruce Springsteen would make a name for himself and make a major impact in rock genre. He had 14 albums that would be released that hit #5 on the charts yet eight of those owned the #1 spot.
The album did spotlight Bruce's talented songwriting skills and singing ability with singles like, "Blinded by the Light" andSpirit in the Night."
