After Woodstock, Country Joe and The Fish would disband in 1971, leaving 'Country Joe' McDonald (lead vocals) to pursue a solo career.

In 2009, 'Country Joe' along with other original Woodstock performers did a tour as 'Heroes of Woodstock.'

Since the '80's,  Barry 'The Fish' Melton pursued life as an attorney,in fact; is currently a public defender in the state of California (Yolo County) and also founded his own band 'The Dinosaurs' and tours with them.
