In 1972 Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) split up and the member found themselves off in different directions.

John Fogerty (lead vocals.songwriter, guitar) and Tom (his brother) decided to pursue solo careers. John is still going strong with his career in the music business, recording and touring.

Tom Fogerty passed away of Aids, having contracted the virus through blood transfusions in 1990.

Stu Cook joined up with 'Southern Pacific', a country band and later formed Creedence Clearwater Revisited along ex-CCR member Doug 'Cosmo" Clifford in 1995. They still tour today performing songs from the old CCR catalog.
