'Are You Experienced' was released in the U.K. initially, an album that took Mitch Mitchell, Noel Redding and Jimi Hendrix six months to record.

They were quite a spectacle at The Monterey Pop Festival which proceeded the U.S. edition of the album, not to mention; it was different than the U.K. edition.

In Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of all Time it's at #15.

The album is in the National Recording registry of the Library of Congress.

Reached #5 in the U.S. and #2 in the U.K., certified 4x Platinum
