Aside from a hiatus in the 90's Judas Priest is heavy metal and have been since 1969.

Longevity is their middle name as their 14th studio release is titled 'Redeemer of Souls' and the first album recorded with out K.K. Downing (founding member), he left in 2011.

Richie Faulkner (guitar) replaced Downing and teams up with the vets of the band, Rob Halford (vocals), Ian Hill (bass), Glenn Tipton (guitar) and on drums Scott Travis.

The band is to perform at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville,Ky October 10th and the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin Texas November 7th.

'Redeemer of Souls' out July 8th on CD,MP3 and vinyl LP.
