I wanted to say a sincere "Thank You" from Ali and I for all the dedicated 103.7 The Loon listeners who came out to Bailey Ray's blues festival on Saturday and stopped by.

We pulled in around 3:45pm and from that point on there were non-stop listeners stopping by, shaking our hands, talking with us, and hanging out. Such great listeners, fans, and down to earth people who love their favorite music. Every t-shirt and coozie we had was given out to our listeners, and they all proudly showed their 103.7 The Loon gear throughout the event.

Ali and I had great conversations with so many listeners, including Dee Miller, who kicked off the festival with great music. Anybody who's attended this festival knows Bill, who's a 92 year old WWII veteran, and it was such an honor to get the chance to hang with Bill for a while there. He's a great harmonica player by the way! I wish we'd have got a picture with him...for sure next year.

I can't count how many of the ladies wanted a t-shirt like Ali was wearing, with the cut at the shoulders. She gladly showed them how she custom made her chick Loon shirt, and the scissors were hard at work!

Thanks to Ray, the blues festival founder and owner of Bailey Ray's for being the bomb, and so welcoming to us at 103.7 The Loon. We were glad to be a big part of their biggest year of the 13-years putting this on. Such a cool guy, and so many people who admire him and his family.
