A landmark instrumental project to say the least for Jeff Beck.

The project itself was overseen by  George Martin (Beatles Producer). The release date was March 29, 1975.

"Freeway Jam" was penned by Jan Hammer.

it is easy to see what inspired the title of this highly improvised instrumental. "Freeway Jam" which was recorded initially for the 1975 Blow By Blow album.

As the name suggests, this is most definitely not a studio track. Beck re-recorded it live with the Jan Hammer Group.
