January 19th, 2009. My birthday. I'm sitting lower-level at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

The lights go dark. The crowd erupts. A lone spotlight hits the stage.

And there stands Angus Young in all his English schoolboy glory.

My first AC/DC  show.

I had never seen them up to that point but like the upcoming Bob Seger show this Thursday night at the same venue, they held a prominent place on my live artists bucket list.

The show? Make no mistake: they deliver. See them. But I guess my only complaint - if you even want to call it a complaint - was that the performance felt very "corporate": if Brian Johnson had yelled out "Hello Cincinnati", I wouldn't have been terribly shocked (and for that matter, I doubt the crowd would have cared much).

Now comes hints that the boys may be returning to the road.

Last Friday, Angus gave an interview to The Sun. In it, he discusses the 2008-09 "Black Ice" tour, saying "Now we're thinking, 'How can we ever better the Black Ice world tour?' But we will."

He doesn't go on to give any specifics and from what I gather, there's probably nothing official in the works but it is probably safe to say they'll be back on the road again!
