On the heels of their Live at River Plate DVD/CD release, AC/DC's Brian Johnson's memoir is hitting the shelves and Johnson is hitting the road. 

The book is called Rockers and Rollers: A Full Throttle Memoir and in it, Johnson talks about his early years driving around in beat up vehicles, his rise to fame with AC/DC and his side career as a race car driver.

He talks about how he would dream of driving all over the world and what he wanted to be when he grew up, as "Rock Star" was not yet an option.

Some famous friends also chime in. Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, as do Johnson's band mates Cliff Williams and Malcom and Angus Young.

The book is scheduled for release May 24. Johnson is set to make a number of appearances in connection with the book. The tour is slated for kickoff Tuesday in Manhattan.
