Myself, I always wanted to be a comedy writer. If you've read any of my articles on our website 1037theloon.com you can probably see why that never happened. My second choice would have been a stand up comedian. But, you know, I got married (3 times) and had kids, so taking a gamble like that when you have real life responsibilities can make chasing your dream extra difficult.

I truly envy those people that followed their dream. My very smart wife always drummed into her kids' heads "When you get older, don't ever have to say, I wish I would have".

Oh, I should probably state that I do love what I'm doing now but it was never my dream to be in radio. But as the wise say, "You are where you are supposed to be".

What was your dream job and if you aren't there, what stopped you?
