Austing Leads Rox To Sixth Straight Win

The St. Cloud Rox beat the La Crosse Loggers 3-0 Thursday night at Joe Faber Field. The win is the sixth straight for the Rox, improving its record to 8-2 on the season.

St. Cloud State's Dominic Austing picked up the win for St. Cloud. Austing pitched five innings and allowed no runs on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts.

Drew Avans hit a home run for the Rox, and Mason Mamarella added a pair of hits to pace the Rox offense.

The Rox will host the Waterloo Bucks Friday night at Joe Faber Field. The game can be heard on our sister station 1390 Granite City Sports, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05.
