Seth MacFarlane is seemingly Hollywood's busiest man. Not only does he have a block of animated programing on the Fox network, he just made the smash hit 'Ted,' is about to host the Oscars, and has at least two movies in the works. Though there was word that 'Ted 2' would be filming shortly, it looks like his comic Western 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' is coming first, and will be co-starring Charlize Theron.
There may have been some wiggle-room yesterday about the news that J.J. Abrams was set to direct 'Star Wars Episode 7,' but Disney and Lucasfilm have confirmed that your new 'Star Wars' director was your old 'Star Trek' director.
Though 'Mad Max: Fury Road' may star Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, if this film is anything like the previous entries it's possible they could be upstaged by the cars and stunts in the film. Jack Klugman, best known to audiences as grumpy sports writer Oscar Madison on 'The Odd Couple' and as Dr. R. Quincy M.E. has died at the age of 90.
"There come a time when good man must wear mask." So intones Johnny Depp to Armie Hammer in 'The Lone Ranger' trailer, which reveals that director Gore Verbinski is up for being a little weird in his big budget blockbuster.
'Two and a Half Men' star Angus T. Jones, perhaps realizing that he had burned not only his meal ticket but everyone he is still contractually obligated to work with for the rest of this season, has issued a statement about the video where he called the show filth, a video which exploded across the internet yesterday.
Today's news that George Lucas is selling Lucasfilm and 'Star Wars' to Disney is so crazy that it's hard to believe it's true. Which may be why Lucas made a video to talk about the handover.
Disney has just purchased Lucasfilm for over four billion dollars, and have just announced that they're planning on a new movie for sometime in 2015.
It was fifty years ago today that James Bond hit screens with his first cinematic adventure 'Dr. No.' Now the world is gearing up for 'Skyfall.' We recently got the full theme song and now we've got a new trailer that uses that music, and a featurette to help celebrate the franchise's Golden Jubilee.
One of the coolest moments in the 'Skyfall' trailer is Daniel Craig's James Bond jumping into a train with its back half ripped off, only to him land and straighten his cufflinks. Now that scene (or part of it) is online.
