Konrad’s Officially Closed After Fundraising Falls Short
A fundraising effort to revive a downtown St. Cloud wine bar fell short earlier this week. Konrad's Wine Bar announced on their Facebook page that they are officially closed after raising just over $13,800 dollars through a GoFundMe campaign.
Stearns County Issues Clarification on Weather Sirens
With May and June proving to be active weather months, Stearns County is issuing some clarification on their procedures for sounding the outdoor sirens. Some listeners calling into WJON on Sunday night did mention that they were confused about the timing of the weather sirens.

Sculptures Are Popping Up Around St. Cloud

Man Seriously Hurt in Brainerd Bar Stabbing
A Brainerd man was arrested Friday for allegedly stabbing another man in a downtown Brainerd bar. Police say they arrested 44-year-old Troy Stalboerger after he stabbed a 24-year-old man in the Iron Rail Saloon at about 10:45 p.m.
St. Cloud Man Arrested For Allegedly Attacking Girlfriend
A St. Cloud man was arrested on Thursday after he allegedly hit, choked and pushed his girlfriend. At about 2:00 p.m. the Benton County Sheriff's Office received a call for a domestic assault that happened in the 200 block of 190th Avenue Northeast near Princeton.

General Mills Issues Recall For Several Nature Valley Bar Flavors
General Mills announced a voluntary national recall on Friday of four Nature Valley bars. The recall is due to a sunflower kernel supplier, SunOpta, and their ongoing recall for the potential presence of Listeria.
