The Twins lost 11-5 in Fort Myers, Florida to the Baltimore Orioles Wednesday night. Johnny Monell hit a 3-run homerun off Jared Burton in the 3rd inning lifting the Orioles to the win.

The Timberwolves lost 118-106 at home against the New York Knicks Wednesday night. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 33 points and Tyson Chandler added 15 points and 14 rebounds.

Twins Finalize Deals With Pelfrey, Suzuki
The Twins finalized free agent contracts with starting pitcher Mike Pelfrey and catcher Kurt Suzuki. Pelfrey gets a 2-year $11 Million deal while Suzuki gets a 1-year $2.75 Million contract. Pelfrey was 5-13 with a 5.19 ERA in 20 starts for the Twins in 2013.
