Viking receiver Percy Harvin sustained a sprained ankle in 3 different places Sunday against Seattle and the injury could force him to the sidelines against the Lions. Harvin returned the game Sunday at Seattle after sustaining the injury but he was favoring the ankle. Head coach Leslie Frazier said the sprain is not a high ankle sprain.
Adrian Peterson kept the Vikings in the game by rushing for 182 yards on 17 carries and 2 touchdowns but Christian Ponder's struggled as the Vikes go to 5-4.
St. John's won their 3rd straight game at Hamline Saturday. St. John's led 24-3 at halftime and cruised through the 2nd half.

The Sartell-St. Stephen football team lost 35-21 Friday night to Moorhead in the Section 8-5A Final in Collegeville. Sartell led 21-7 at halftime before the Spuds outscored the Sabres 28-0 in the 2nd half. Chase Morlock ran for 214 yards and 5 touchdowns for Moorhead. Eric McAfee was held to 66 yards rushing and 1 touchdown for Sartell.
The Sartell-St. Stephen football team will play Moorhead tonight in the Section 8-5A Final at St. John's University in Collegeville at 7pm. The Sabres are seeded #2 and are 7-2 on the season while Moorhead is 9-0 and seeded #1 in the section.
