Fresh produce, organic meat, and other locally grown products will be readily available again this year. Farmers markets will be opening soon in several area communities. Here’s a rundown of just a few in this area:
ST. CLOUD – Another group of National Guard soldiers are coming home to Central Minnesota.
More than 250 soldiers from the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division are scheduled to return to Minnesota tomorrow (Friday)

The events will kick-off tomorrow (Friday) with a Health and Fitness Expo at St. Cloud State University’s Hallenbeck Hall. The Expo runs from noon until 8:00 p.m.
UNDATED – Minnesota will conduct two tornado drills today (Thursday).
The first drill is statewide at 1:45 p.m. It allows schools, businesses and hospitals to practice their emergency plans.

Raindrops and tear drops fell on Sunday afternoon as about a dozen National Guard soldiers were welcomed home at the St. Cloud National Guard Armory.
