Only a man of some social significance knows where to buy a tiger, and it seems Axl Rose may qualify. The Guns N' Roses singer was heard discussing his plans to purchase a big cat during a wild Monday night that included Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill and a "harem of ladies."

The New York Post is calling this group the modern-day Rat Pack. Rose was with DiCaprio, Hill, Tobey Maguire and Michael K. Williams at Catch Roof in New York City, "surrounded by tons of security." He reportedly talked about his plans to buy a tiger earlier in the night, while at dinner with the ladies.

It doesn't seem he was with Maguire and Hill when they went to Avenue and joined up with Ray Liotta and Danny Abeckaser, who'd just come from 'The Iceman' screening after-party.

Things are otherwise relatively quiet for Guns N' Roses. Currently they've only eight dates on their spring itinerary, beginning with a May 24 stop at Rocklahoma in Pryor, Okla. The big news is their 3D concert film called 'Appetite for Democracy,' tentatively scheduled for a summer release. It was filmed during their residency at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last year.
