Baxter’s Attic, Cream “Crossroads”
In the Attic this morning, a song that was originally recorded by 30s bluesman Robert Johnson. The rumor back then was Johnson went to the crossroads and sold his soul to the devil in exchange for the ability to play the blues. Other artists from that period said Robert Johnson went from being a poor guitar player to a very good one in a very short time. Cream recorded it in 1968.
