Baxter’s Attic, Grateful Dead “Truckin” (live)
On this dreary Monday that doesn't feel like Spring at all, I decided to cheer myself up with some Dead in The Attic this morning. The Dead were famous for improvising their shows. I went to three shows in three days in the early nineties and not one show was even close to the one before it. These guys just showed up and jammed. One night a song might be 5 or 6 minutes and the next night that same song could be twenty five minutes. You never knew what you were going to get when attending a Grateful Dead show. Another bonus when attending a Dead show were the Dead Heads that followed the band everywhere. He wasn't exactly the poster boy for clean and healthy living, was he? It was a great loss when Jerry Garcia passed but I don't think too many fans were that surprised..He wasn't exactly the poster boy for clean and healthy living, was he? the video below contains over nine minutes of "Truckin" live. As always, should you have a suggestion for The Attic, email to me at email@example.com.
