Such a beautiful morning this morning, I had the urge for some of John Lennon's genius. After the Beatles called it quits in the late 60's, John kind of just hung out at home enjoying the peace and quiet of not being a rock star. Evidently, John had people that were confused as to why he was apparently doing not much, as far as the music business. Well, he ended up writing this song and the lyrics are an effort to explain his frame of mind at the time. "People say I'm lazy dreaming my life away Well they give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me When I tell them that I'm doing fine watching shadows on the wall Don't you miss the big time boy you're no longer on the ball I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round I really love to watch them roll No longer riding on the merry-go-round I just had to let it go.  Enjoy this from John
