Classic, classic stuff from the 60's in The Attic this morning."Louie, Louie" was an iconic song in the sixties. Catchy kind of party type song..There was some controversy that caused a lot of radio stations to pull the song. Although I've listened for the offending word several times, it's still inaudible to me. At 57 seconds into the song, the singer allegedly dropped an F bomb.  At a station I worked at in Florida, the morning show would do a Louie, Louie parade every year. They would get a couple hundred listeners and give them all Kazoos. they would then all march done the street playing "Louie, Louie" on their Kazoos. It was a big hit every year. Anyway, below I've posted a video of The Kingsmen doing "Louie, Louie" on some dance show. It struck me that all those kids dancing are either dead now or in their 70's or 80's. Any suggestions for The Attic? Email them to me at baxter@1037theloon.com
