With the beautiful weather this morning, I could not resist throwing on some Steely Dan. Although, I do get a bit sad thinking we no longer have Walter Becker in the band. Becker was just one on a list too long of great artists we lost last year. So, it's "Josie" in The Attic this morning. "Josie" tells the story of a very beautiful and popular girl who is the desire of all the boys in this blue collar town. She creates quite a stir any time she returns. Timothy B Schmit sang backup on this track. Schmit also appeared on Steely Dan's "Pretzel Logic" and "The Royal Scam". Timothy B Schmit later went on to join The Eagles as their bass player and some vocals. We visit The Attic every morning around 9:35 and are happy to take your suggestions for Attic selections. They just have to meet the criteria of an "Attic song". Email me your suggestions to baxter@1037theloon.com.
