In The attic this morning, a great song written by Randy Bachman of the Guess Who. Randy said we got the idea for this song listening to a Canadian radio station that was playing a Bob Dylan tune. He had already written the instrumental part of this song but had no song yet. Just then he heard Dylan say "She's undun" and thought that would be a great title for his new tune. He later claimed the song was about a girl he saw at a party that had taken too much LSD and was tripping in a bad way. He presented the song to Burton Cummings with fifteen verses. Cummings said he was not about to learn fifteen versus and told Bachman to cut it down to three verses and he's sing it. Cummings also said that of all the songs Randy Bachman had written, this was his favorite.
