Hey Jude topped the charts in Britain for two weeks and for 9 weeks in America, where it became The Beatles longest-running No.1 in the US singles chart.  Paul wrote this song for Julian Lennon (John's son) when Julian was going through some tough times with his father who was pretty much absent from his life, at the time.  The song was originally titled "Hey Jules" but Paul changed it to Jude before recording it.  Enjoy
