BAXTER’S ATTIC Tom Petty “The Last DJ”

Every weekday around 9:30, we pull one out of the attic. In case you are new, the Attic is a mythical place where, in the 70′s, we were “enlightened” by great music…and other stuff.

We played this in the Attic this morning in honor of rock radio legend Jim Ladd, the last free form dj, who was let go from KLOS in Los Angeles Yesterday.  Petty wrote this song about Ladd several years ago.  Seems even more fitting today.
