Baxter’s World, Meet Boner the Intern

Here at the Loon we sometimes have interns that to get college credit are subjected to learning all that radio encompasses.  More often than not, it is not an ideal situation for either party. Sometimes though, you can get a good one.  We had an intern the last few months that was intent on actually learning something. Her name was Haylee, a student at SCSU. On the other hand, a while back we had an intern that had the vocabulary of a sailor and swore on the air. A big no no. Years ago we had an intern on the morning show named Special Ed. He would more often than not, fall asleep while we were on the air. I guess he forgot to get some sleep before he came to work in the morning. All in all, interns are a good thing. If they come to learn, the experience they can get from an internship are invaluable. So, please join us in welcoming Boner the Intern. I have a feeling he won't be giving us much trouble.
