BECKER -- A Becker man wanted on a felony warrant was arrested Monday afternoon.

The incident happened just before 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 23 and 103rd Street in Becker.

Police Chief Brent Baloun says an officer made a traffic stop after noticing the driver of the vehicle, 40-year-old Binh Phuc Cao, had a felony warrant for 4th Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct out of Wright County.

Cao failed to pull over and a short chase began. He drove through Becker into Benton County at speeds of 90 mph and eventually into a cornfield.

He later drove back into town before his tires went flat with the help of stop sticks. The chase lasted about 40 minutes.

Cao was arrested and taken to the Sherburne County Jail. He faces charges of Felony Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle and for the previous warrant.
