Best Vacation Place for One Last Hurrah in Minnesota?

Summer is just about coming to an end. College starting soon and public schools are just a week and a half away from starting.

Hopefully, you got in at least one good restful vacation in this Summer. But, if not or you are up for another one before Summer ends, where would you want to go in Minnesota?  Myself, I prefer to go to the family cabin up North. I probably should branch out and explore what this great state has to offer.

I hear good things about the Duluth/Lake Superior area. I actually honeymooned there once and lost my wedding band.  Should have been a sign, I guess.

Of course, there is so much to do in the Cities. Sports, music, theater, museums, the Mall of America and so many bars and restaurants.

Southern Minnesota, like around Rochester and Mankato is beautiful country for camping, hiking and all that stuff.

Where would you go for one last hurrah this Summer?
