Bicyclist Hospitalized After Being Hit By A Car

DELANO - A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened just after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 12 in Delano.

A car driven by 52-year-old Timothy Gosswiller of Cokato was going east when it went into the right turn lane near 7th Street and struck the bike.

The bicyclist was 44-year-old Mark Kangas of Delano. He was taken to Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia with non-life threatening injuries.
