Big Lake Police: Pill Found In Kit Kat Bar

BIG LAKE - Big Lake police are investigating a poor attempt at tampering with candy handed out to a trick or treater. The Kit Kat bar involved was handed out Monday night somewhere in the subdivisions west of County Road 73 in Big Lake.

The family says the wrapper was opened on one end, and a yellow pill was partially stuck into it. The pill is used to treat muscle spasms, sciatica, fibromyalgia, among other ailments.

Big Lake police say there have been no other reports of candy tampering.
