Black Sabbath’s highly anticipated album has landed them in the top spot.

It has taken 43 years, but Black Sabbath has a number one album to their credit.

Their album 13 which came out on June 11 sold 155 thousand copies in its first week to land handily at number one. The number two album only sold 48 thousand copies.

Here are a few fun Black Sabbath facts. They made their debut on the Billboard charts in 1970 with their self titled debut and have logged 23 other entries since then, but none have ever made it to number one. They came close with Master of Reality in 1971 which peaked at number 8.

13 is Black Sabbath’s first album with Ozzy since Never Say Die which came out in 1978.
