Bob Welch, musician who  had a solo career and was a former member of Fleetwood Mac was found dead in his home in Nashville, Tennessee. According to police it was an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

He was 65 years old.

According to police spokesman Don Aaron said Welch's wife found him with a chest wound at  around 12:15 p.m. According to police he did leave behind a suicide note talking of health issues.

Welch was a guitarist and vocalist for Fleetwood Mac in the mid Seventies. Welch  had hits including "Sentimental Lady" and "Ebony Eyes" in the late Seventies.

Welch, a native of Los Angeles, scored his biggest hit with "Sentimental Lady," and that itself reached number 8 on the Billboard charts. Some of Bob's Albums include French Kiss, Live at the Roxy, and Three Hearts.

Another great rocker leaves us, but his music shall live forever.
