Bret Michaels Helps Iowa Family

The Poison front man isn't as bad assed as he may have tried to be back in the day. Bret Michaels made an appearance this past weekend on Extreme Makeover to help out a family in Iowa get into a brand new home. 

Bret Michaels appeared on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition this past weekend.

He stepped up to help Audry Gibbs and her six children who were living in a run down farm house in Fayette County, Iowa. She is a single mother raising her children alone after the death of her husband and Bret helped out with the designing of the home as well as the fundraising effort to help Audry pay off the mortgage. Not only did Audry lose her husband, she herself is battling a number of health and personal issues. Audry had a brain aneurysm and is now legally blind and probably will not make a full recovery. You may remember Bret had an aneurysm last year.
