Brew Review: New Belgium “Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout”

Wow.  This beer really took me by surprise!  When they say salted, they mean it.

New Belgium paired up with Perennial Artisan Ales to bring together two of my favorite things: beer and chocolate.

The Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout will have all of your taste buds firing.  When it hits the front of your tongue you get a smack of chocolate and roasted malts, then the salt sets in as the stout flows across your mouth.  And like I said before, you will taste the salt.

Rich, but balanced out by the salt.  I could easily drink a few of these before the flavors became too much.
