Canterbury Park Opens for the Season Tonight

The smell of dirt and dollars returns to Minnesota tonight as Canterbury Park opens for the summer. First post is at 7 tonight, with nine races scheduled. Then tomorrow the races begin at 1:30.

Saturday is also Preakness Day at Canterbury Park, as the second leg of the Triple Crown runs for the 137th time at Pimlico in Baltimore. You'll be able to watch and bet on the Preakness Stakes from Canterbury.The big question is; will 'I'll Have Another' actually have another win after taking the Kentucky Derby for a ride.

Sunday is Family Day with pony rides, a petting zoo and kids can race the track after the last run.
