The Minnesota Wild lost 5-2 Thursday night to Vancouver at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.  Dany Heatley gave the Wild a 1-0 lead scoring just :13 seconds into the game.  That sets a franchise record for quickest goal.  Dany Heatley and Devin Setoguchi each scored a goal and Niklas Backstrom had 15 saves for the Wild.

Minnesota outshot Vancouver 24-20.  The Wild were 1-4 on the power play.  Minnesota will host Columbus at 7pm Saturday, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.  The Wild are tied for 9th place in the Western Conference, 2 points back of Phoenix for the 8th and final playoff spot in the West.
