A short cell phone video obtained by TMZ has surfaced, taken during the arrest Sunday morning of Minnesota Viking defensive end Tom Johnson. Johnson was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct. Johnson claims Minneapolis Police over stepped their authority and acted inappropriately.

Minneapolis Police reportedly used pepper spray and a taser on Johnson prior to his arrest. Johnson isn't talking about the incident, leaving that up to his attorney.

The Minnesota Vikings released the following statement:

We are aware of the matter involving Tom Johnson. We are continuing to gather information and will have further comment at the appropriate time.

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer says that Johnson, in his first year with Minnesota, is expected to play this Sunday against Detroit.
