UNDATED - This is the 76th anniversary of the Great Armistice Day Blizzard.  The snowstorm on November 11th, 1940 killed 49 people in Minnesota.

Food had to be dropped off by pilot Max Conrad to save some stranded hunters.

Some roads were so badly blocked with snow they weren't opened again until November 22nd.
