'England's Newest Hitmakers' was the debut of The Rolling Stone's album in the U.S.,however; in the U.K. it was titled 'The Rolling Stone's.'

The album is mostly R&B cover songs but it was the song the Glimmer Twins penned together that charted the best, "Tell Me (You're Coming Back)"

Gene Pitney ("Town Without Pity") and Phil Spector each had a role on the album both with songwriting assistance and instruments.

#11 on the U.S. charts and #1 U.K.

Certified Gold in the U.S.

Released May 30th, 1964 (U.S.) and April 16th, 1964 (U.K.)
