The Eagles considered a country rock band and being from California recorded their debut album in England.

A band in rare form where all the members could sing, they shared vocals and most the songwriting duties.

Exceptions would be "Take It Easy" and "Nightingale" penned by Jackson Browne and "Peaceful Easy Feeling" written by Jack Tempchin.

Certified Platinum in the U.S. and Silver in the U.K.

#22 on the U.S. charts and released June 17th, 1972.
