The Occupy Wall Street protests are nearing their second month and the latest stars to come out and show their support also performed for the crowd and gave an interview to Rolling Stone Magazine.

David Crosby and Graham Nash visited the Occupy Wall Street protesters near Zucotti Park in Manhattan yesterday afternoon and they also granted an interview to Rolling Stone Magazine in the process. How convenient.

Nash said that people are "waking up" and that's what his job is as a musician is to "wake people up" and that it's time for people to be aware of what's going on in the world. He supports what the protesters are doing and that it's great to see people trying to create positive change. Crosby, however went the direct route saying people are tired of "getting screwed". The pair played a five song set for the protesters that included "Teach Your Children."

You don't think this had anything to do with the fact that they wanted to plug their appearances on Keith Olbermann and David Letterman, do you? Maybe it was more or less to plug their new DVD Crosby-Nash: In Concert. Not sure, but Graham Nash is A.) British and B.) part of the 1% and should probably stay out of American politics and away from people protesting against the rich.
